YHPL has an ongoing take & make for spice of the month; patrons can pick up a small sample of a spice and a pamphlet with recipes and history. The spice for August will be hibiscus.
Teen Take&Make: Vintage Map Coasters
Take home supplies to make vintage map coasters. Available at the circulation desk through the end of August or while supplies last.
Adult Take&Make: Paper Weaving Hot Air Balloon
Take home supplies to make a paper weaving hot air balloon. Available on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last. This craft is suitable for teens and adults. Available starting August 3.
Children’s Take&Make: Dinosaur Masks
August’s Take-and-Make for Children will be Dinosaur Masks. Kits will include two cardstock masks for children to color. The masks will have pre-punched holes for string (which will be included). You will need coloring materials and scissors. Kits will be available August 3 while supplies last.
