Spice of the Month Club
YHPL has an ongoing take & make for spice of the month; patrons can pick up a small sample of a spice and a pamphlet with recipes and history. The spice for October will be pumpkin pie spice.
Teen Take&Make: Beaded Backpack Charm
Take home supplies to make a button pumpkin canvas. Available at the circulation desk through the end of October or while supplies last.
Adult Take&Make: Spider Web Hanging
Take home supplies to make an embroidery hoop spider web hanging. Available on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last. This craft is suitable for teens and adults. Available starting October 1.
Children’s Take&Make: Paper Bag Bat
Children’s Take-and-Make for October will be a paper bag bat. Kits will include a bag, wings, eyes, teeth and instructions. You will need scissors and glue. This craft is suitable for ages 3 -8. Kits will be available Thursday October 1 while supplies last.
