Spice of the Month Club
YHPL has an ongoing take & make for spice of the month; patrons can pick up a small sample of a spice and a pamphlet with recipes and history. The spice for April will be poppy seeds. First come first serve, while supplies last.
Children’s Take&Make: Plastic Cup Planters
Our craft bag will include a cup, googly eyes, a variety of small craft supplies, putting soil and grass seed. Decorate your cup, plant the seed, and watch the grass grow. You can even give your planter a haircut when the grass gets long enough. Suitable for ages 4 and older (younger children can complete with adult help). Available April 1st, while supplies last.
Teen Take&Make: Small Book Tote
Take home supplies to make your own small book tote. Available at the circulation desk through the end of April or while supplies last.
Adult Take&Make: DIY Washi Tape Flowers
Take home a kit to make your own washi tape flowers. Available on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last. This craft is suitable for teens and adults. Available starting April 1.
