Mission Statement

Your Home Public Library collects and organizes materials and provides services to support the educational, recreational, professional, civic, and cultural needs of community residents.  Emphasis is placed on supporting students at all academic levels, including the independent learner, and on stimulating young children’s interest and appreciation for reading and learning.

Your Home Public Library is located at 107 Main Street in Johnson City, NY. (Map) The library has been serving the public since 1917. (Click here for more history). The library circulates more than 65,000 items a year including books, DVD’s, music, and books on CD. For more information about library policies, check the Policies Page.
