Petition Carrier Orientation Sessions & FAQ

june 14- 39

The 2014 Union Library District Funding Petition requests that a funding increase for the Johnson City & Endicott libraries be put up for a vote.  While petitions will be available at both libraries, volunteer petition carriers are needed to go door-to-door to gather signatures.  This is your chance to not only give back to community, but to help secure the future of public libraries and all the critical services they provide.  Petition carriers must be registered voters in the Town of Union.

Several orientation sessions have been scheduled so those interested in volunteering may learn about the referendum:

June 4, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

June 12, 10-11 a.m.

June 18, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

June 21, 10-11 a.m.

Can’t make it to one of these sessions?  Arrange a special orientation session by contacting Library Director Andrea Tillinghast: or 797-4816.
