YHPL’s collection of DVD’s continues to grow! We now have over 1,300 DVD’s!
Because of that growth, we have raised the checkout limit from 3 to 5.
Patrons may now checkout Five (5) DVD’s at a time.

The Your Home Public Library and the Broome County Public library will co-host a Twilight: Eclipse program for teens ages 11 – 18 on Tuesday, June 29^th at 7 p.m. at the Your Home Public Library, 107 Main Street, Johnson City.

The program will include a trivia quiz, scavenger hunt, door prizes, and t-shirt decorating (participants must provide the shirt, we will provide craft supplies) . Admission is free. Registration requested. For more information, call the YHPL at 797-4816, or BCPL at 778-6456.

The summer session of Preschool Storytimes will be held at the Your Home Public Library  on Monday evenings at 6:30, beginning June 28^th and running through August 9^th.  (No storytime on Monday, July 5^th, due to the Fourth of July weekend.)  The programs are for children ages 3 – 5 and their caregivers.  Activities will include books, fingerplays, rhymes, games, crafts, and more.  No registration is required.    Call the library at 797-4816 for more information.

The YHPL Board of Trustees meeting scheduled for Tuesday, June 15 has been canceled.

The next scheduled Library Board meeting is Monday, July 12.

YHPL’s summer hours will begin on Monday, June 14. The library will be closed on Saturdays until after Labor Day weekend.
