Children ages 6 – 10 are invited to join us for a Halloween Program on Saturday, October 24th at 1 p.m. We will decorate a small pumpkin, create a candy holder, make a living mummy, and go on a scavenger hunt. Costumes are encouraged, but not necessary.

Zoomobile visits the library

On Monday, July 20th, two volunteers on the Ross Park Zoomobile brought several animals to visit with friends at the library. Animals included a parrot, two rats, a lizard, a snake, and an armadillo. Each month, the Your Home Public Library and the Johnson City Schools’ Signals Program team for a Magic Tree House program on a Tuesday evening. Each month, we read one or two chapters from a Magic Tree House series book, and then do a craft and an activity that ties in with the theme.
