YHPL hosts monthly book discussion programs on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM. The programs are all free and we encourage anyone to attend. We like to keep them loose and informal; definitely more discussion and less lecture. The next set of dates and titles are listed below. If you would like to suggest a title, send an e-mail to email@example.com.
February 9th: The Island of Doctor Moreau by H. G. Wells
March 8th: Lock In by John Scalzi
April 12th: Two Years, Eight Months, and Twenty-Eight Nights by Salman Rushdie
May 10th: The Beekeeper’s Apprentice by Laurie King
June 14th: The House of Silk by Anthony Horowitz
July 12th: Mycroft Holmes by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
August 9th: A Study in Scarlet by Arthur Conan Doyle
The Book Discussions are held in our basement meeting room.
You can find copies of all Book Discussion titles each month by the main circulation desk!
