For the Statewide Summer Reading Program, the New York State Library, in collaboration with the New York Library Association’s Youth Services Section and School Library Media Section, created a set of New York State recreational reading lists for young readers.

The reading lists are organized by age level and they include information about books in recorded and braille formats through the regional and sub-regional libraries for the blind and physically handicapped in New York State.
